Scoring Terms and Conditions 1. The Promoter. The promoter of Love My Footy Competition is Solotrek Pty Ltd of 1/223 Stud Road, Studfield Victoria. ACN: 088 193 551. The administrator of the promotion is Footy Tipping Software Pty Ltd of 10A Orrong Road Elsternwick 3185. Footy Tipping Software Pty Ltd is an AFL licensed provider of footy tipping systems in Australia. 2. Who Can Enter. Entry to Love My Footy Competition is open to all Australian residents over 18 yrs of age apart from ACT residents. 3. Who Cannot Enter. Directors, management, employees and immediate family of the promoter are not eligible to enter the competition and are not eligible to win any of the prizes. All persons under 18 yrs of age. 4. Entry is Free. There are no entry fees to register or play Love My Footy Competition. Maximum value of prizes to be paid by Love My Footy is $10,000. 5. How to Enter. Entry to the competition is only available by completing the Registration details at www.lovemyfooty.com website. Tips must be submitted via the website 10 minutes before the first match of each round. 6. Receipt of Promotional Material. Upon registration, participants agree to receive promotional & marketing material from the promoter. 7. Privacy Policy. All personal information collected by entering this competition will not be given/sold to any third party. 8. Competition Start and Finish Dates. The promotion commences at 9.00 am Tuesday 1st of January 2008 and concludes 6.30 pm Friday the 29th of August 2008, when tipping will be closed for the final round of the 2008 AFL Home and Away Season. 9. Entering After the Official Start Date. Participants who register after 6.00 p.m. Thursday 20th of March 2008, the beginning of the 2008 AFL Home and Away Season, will be awarded the average score of the tipping competition when they join, for each missed round. 10. Communication during the Competition. All communication between the promoter and the participant must be via the promoter's website and electronic mail. Registration forms or weekly tips sent to the promoter via any other means of communication are void. 11. Administration of the Competition. The promoter will email the results for each round to each participant and email reminder messages to the participant to lodge tips before cut off times. 12. Points Allocations. Participants will be awarded 1 point for each correctly win. Participants can not select a draw as a possible outcome. In the event a draw does occur, participants will be awarded 1 point for that game regardless of which team they selected or were allocated by the competition's default tips. 13. Weekly Cut Off Times. Weekly cut off times and Procedures Should You Forget to Enter Your Tips. Tips may be lodged up until 10 minutes before the start of the first game of the round, after which registered entrants will be allocated away teams with a predicted winning margin of 50 points. Tips entered before the deadline may be amended provided the changes are completed prior to cut-off. 14. Weekly Winner. The participant who correctly picks most winners in each round and whose predicted margin is closest to the winning margin in the earliest game of each round is the Winner of the Round Prize and will receive $200 Love My Footy weekly prize. This prize will be remitted to the Winner by cheque. The weekly winners at the end of each round will be notified by electronic mail within two days of the final game of the round. There will be a prize of $200 won each week for 22 weeks of the season from Love My Footy. 15. Overall Winners. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded to the participants who correctly pick the most winning teams for the 2008 AFL Home and Away Season and are valued at $3000, $1600 and $1000 cash respectively. The total prize pool to be distributed for Love My Footy is $10,000. 16. Determining the Overall Winners. In the event of there being more than one person with equal scores in any prize category, the final winner will be determined by calculating each tippers accumulated margin difference. If a final winner cannot be determined, in each prize category, the tipper who registered on the earliest date and time will be determined the winner. 17. Date, Place and Time of Determining the Winner. The winners at the end of the season will be determined at 6 pm on Sunday 31st of August 2008 at the offices of Footy Tipping Software Pty Ltd at 10A Orrong Road Elsternwick 3185 and will be notified by electronic mail by 12 Noon on Wednesday 3rd of September 2008. The winners names will be displayed on the promoter's website by 12 Noon on Wednesday 3rd of September 2008. All major prize winners of Love My Footy will be published in the Herald Sun on Friday the 8th of September 2008. 18. Dispute Resolution. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the promoter is final. No responsibility is taken for lost, or misdirected, registrations and weekly tips. 19. Amendment of Rules. The promoter reserves the right to amend the rules of the competition from time to time as considered necessary, subject to obtaining written approval from the relevant government authorities. Individual notice of such changes shall not be given but such changes will be recorded on the promoter's website. 20. Disclaimer. The promoter takes no responsibility for unauthorised access to any participant's tipping by any means, including where passwords have been revealed to third parties by the entrant. 21. Promoter’s Decision is Final. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the competition. Completion and submission of your registration is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of this competition. 22. Permits |
